Backing Compound 2403
Globalflex® Line Backing Compound 2403 High Performance is a liquid epoxy resin specially formulated to act as a cavity-filling adhesive. Its main function is to support and reinforce the liners of gyratory and cone crushers, protecting them against damage caused by impact, compression, and abrasion.
It is composed of a Liquid Epoxy Resin “A” and a Hardener “B”, whose mixture fills the cavity areas between the parts that make up the equipment assembly, extending the structural life.

BACKING COMPOUND IN CRUSHER
MODEL
Model Nº 1 presents the internal structure of a gyratory crusher in order to show the application area of Globalflex® Backing Compound. The model shows the sections comprising the main shaft, core and upper and lower mantles, among which we can find cavities typical of the equipment assembly. These cavities must be filled with Globalflex® Backing Compound which acts as a backing to prevent damage caused in the crushing process.
Globalflex® Backing Compound eliminates the gap zones between the support structures, it is a product that has a high hydrolytic stability resisting chemical decomposition in the presence of water or humidity and its functional cure time allows a quick return to equipment service.
